I appreciate Buddy teaching last week. I had a great time at Clemson and Charlotte , would have been better if we had won. This weeks lesson in Romans is All About Grace. I am in the Pittsburgh Airport at 8 pm Sat. We landed in New York this morning on the cruise ship. Went to Laguardia had 2 flights canceled. Rented a car and drove here. Plan on being in Sunday School in the morning. See you there. J L Grant

Want to apologize to y'all . I have not been doing all I should have as a Sunday School teacher. We had a training season last Sunday. There is a lot that over time you get busy and quit doing. Well another interesting week. We should be caught up on rain. I had 4.4 inches Tuesday. We are going to have our summer Sunday school party Aug. 6 at 5:30 pm. It will be at our house 706 queens Way. It's been another hot one. My week has been 4th of July and going to the Dr. We all are getting old and it's not easy. This weeks lesson in Jeremiah is Submitting to Gods Discipline. None of us really like to be disciplined. Let's study Gods word and see if we have a choice.

It's been a great week weather wise. I love the cool temps but today is over 90. This weeks lesson in Colossians is Be Faithful. One of my favorite verses is in the lesson. Col 3:23 says Whatever you do, do enthusiastically. I don't admire half hearted people.

It has been an incredible week. Monday till Wed. We were in Orange Beach celebrating our 42nd anniversary. We had a great time. We got home just in time to see all the tornados live on TV.

We need to be in prayer for all those affected. I never thought we would see over 200 people dye with the warnings and technology today. I don't know about you but I feel a real need to be in church Sunday.

Well it's been quite week so far heart wise. I did have to go to heart school last Monday. Learned the dos and don'ts going foreword.

This weeks lesson in Colossians is Knowing The Truth. Not a bad thing to know.

This week we have been to events honoring two people I admire a lot. They are Hub Waldrop and David Housel. Both have had a very positive influence on many people's lives.

I really enjoyed Sunday School last week. It's good when there is a lot of participation. This weeks lesson is Never Let Up.

I went to the heart Dr. Monday with 2 pages of questions. The good news is he said if I do as I should I can live 30 more years. Will share more info Sunday.

I had the heart cath. yesterday. They found 1 artery 90 percent blocked. Put in a stint. I am doing fine. Thanks for the prayers.

The lesson this week in Phillipians is Looking Upward. Something heart surgery will get you to do.

Hey everybody,

It was great to see so many last Sunday. The lesson this week is about Christians being a light in a dark world. We need to live in a way that we are.

I got the results of my nuclear stress test Thursday. It indicated some limited blood flow to a part of the heart. They said I need to have a heart cath. I told them to schedule it as soon as possible. It will be Mon. At 6:30 am. Keep me In your prayers.

Hope you have had a great week. I had a stress test and nuclear cardiogram Tuesday. It took almost the entire day. Will have results Monday.

I was finally back last Sunday. Unfortunately only Mark and Hal were there. Let's all regather this week. I have some chocolate treats from Cunard for everyone. This is our last lesson in this quarter in 2Kings.

We will have a new granddaughter Friday. Sarah is being induced.
