Hey Everybody,

This is Thursday and I hope everybody is having a great day of giving thanks and eating a lot of food. We all are indeed blest.

This Sunday's lesson is titled Debt Danger. It is part of the stewardship Series of 3lessons. I think you will enjoy this lesson. In my opinion this is a very important subject. It should provoke a good discussion.

Be careful going to Moms house and I'll see you Sunday. J L Grant

Hey Everybody,

This heat is rough on old folks like me. Thank God for many things, but especially for air conditioning.

The lesson this Sunday is on Christian love (agape). The lesson is in 1 Cor. If more Christians practiced agape love, then churches would be much more peaceful.

Come Sunday and we will discuss it.

Hey Everybody,

The trip was great and we had a good time. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. I know its spring break but I'm still optimistic.

The lesson this week in Exodus is on "Divine Purpose ". I do believe that God has a Divine Purpose for each of us. We are not here accidentally. Hope to see you Sunday.

Hey Everybody,

I sit here looking out at a winter wonderland. Hope everybody is enjoying it but be safe.

This Sunday's lesson is "WHEN YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED". If this has not occurred in your life, it will. Health issues, financial issues, family issues and others will give you the "I can't stand anymore" feeling.

Come Sunday and lets see what the Bible says.

Prayerfully,
J L GRANT

A Note from J.L.

Hey Everybody,

It has been an eventful week. A lot of people have been beside themselves with recruiting. Some are in a twit about the Super Bowl. I wish that people would be that excited about serving the Lord.

The lesson this week in Mark is "What Are Your Priorites". A very goood Question.

By the way, I talked to Dick Bagwell this week. He said they are not going to ask us to move to the room downstairs. They have gone a different direction and we will stay where we are.

Hope to see everybody Sunday.

A Note from J.L.

Hey everybody,

It has been an emotional week. I was a pall bearer at Orell's funeral Tuesday. I thought the service was very comforting. He was a Cristian and that makes all the difference.

I was sorry to hear Mark Burtest had passed away. He truly battled for a long time.

The lesson this week in Mark is "How to be a Sucess". Not a bad thing to know. Hope to see everyone.

Prayerfully,
J L Grant

A note from J.L.

Hey Everybody

I don't believe I've ever felt cold more than this snap. Perhaps I'm getting old.

Tomorrow, Parkway is back on the regular schedule. That is 8:15 service, 9:30 Sunday School, 10:45 service.

I know it's cold but bundle up and come on. I can't wait to hear your holiday stories. A praise Chris told me - Lottie Moon doubled the 25000 goal and is currently at 52000. This is truly remarkable. See you tomorrow.
